Biographical Information
T’Serel was born on Vulcan to Captain T’Ranna of the U.S.S. Independence. She spent her childhood there until the age of 18, when she immediately applied to Starfleet Academy to join her mother.
She spent several years as a security officer aboard the U.S.S. Dover, becoming Assistant Security Chief.
The Dover encountered a gravitational anomaly in early 2271, which pulled the ship inside. All shuttles and escape pods were launched, however, and the crew were all recovered. T’Serel was the last out, ensuring that the remainder of her crew escaped but remaining aboard. Her sacrifice would allow her entire crew, including her sister T’Vella, to survive.
The Dover would spend several days in a pocket dimension without time. The absence of time was hard on T’Serel, but she persevered, ultimately finding a way out of the void.
She emerged in 2426, being met by a task force assembled by Vice Admiral T’Vella.
After being towed back to Deep Space Nine, T’Serel was promoted to Lieutenant Commander, and assigned as the Dover’s commanding officer.
