Biographical Information
Magicka was born on 13 December 2362, on the planet Majinn. She began her life of piracy when the Federation made second contact with her species in 2388, where she stowed away aboard the California-class U.S.S. Tahoe as it left the planet. She successfully hid inside of the cargo hold until the Tahoe was set to participate in a prisoner transfer from a Federation penal facility.
Here, she enlisted the help of former ensign Bartholomew Morgan and proceeded to free the prisoner the Tahoe was set to transfer, Evelyn Swann. The three managed to commandeer a runabout and flee the facility before they were captured.
Between the years 2388 and 2400, Magicka gathered a crew and managed to steal a Farengi marauder called Gilded Opulence, which she currently uses as her own vessel. She now operates primarily within the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, though recent diplomatic discussions with the Dominion has revealed that she has managed to reach into the Gamma Quadrant as well.
Oddly, Magicka frequently does not kill the crews of vessels which seek her arrest. Her observed strategy involves firing to disable enemy vessels, then stealing any and all cargo aboard. Following this, she will make a recruitment offer to the ship’s crew. Any who do not accept are left on the disabled vessel to await rescue.
Currently, it appears that Magicka and her crew have developed a rivalry with the pirates of the Orion Syndicate. She has begun focusing her efforts on these individuals, and incidents against Federation, Klingon, and civilian vessels have decreased substantially. The warrants for Magicka’s arrest are now considered low priority.

Addendum - On the Nature of Slimefolk
Slimefolk of the planet Majinn are a semi-morphogenic species which the Federation made first contact with in 2387. Anatomically, Slimefolk are almost as poorly understood as the fully morphogenic Changelings, but there are some known factors.
Slimefolk are biologically immortal and have a single internal organ, a stomach. This chamber breaks down organic material inside the Slimefolk’s body and converts it into more of the strange material this body is comprised of. This material appears to be immune to any known disease, but this has not been fully tested.
Unlike Changelings, a Slimefolk’s standard state, here defined as the state into which the body defaults when unconscious or asleep, is their humanoid shape. As well, Slimefolk do not have the capabilities of disguise that Changelings exhibit. They can utilize their abilities to stretch and shape their bodies to whatever form they see fit, but they cannot change their color or produce the appearance of clothing.
The Slimefolk morphogenic matrix can be destabilized by removing material from their bodies. However, so long as they have enough material, a Slimefolk can recover from almost any injury. As such, medically, the determined solution for treating injured Slimefolk is to allow them to eat and simply wait for their morphogenic matrix to repair itself.
Local legends among the Slimefolk also suggest that certain individuals have the ability to “fire a beam that turns people into food”. What this truly means, or how many individuals may exhibit this ability, is unknown. Legends suggest the ability is extremely rare, and has not been seen for roughly two centuries.
