Insights
What would you have become if not for Starfleet?
“I’d probably have followed my father to Massachusetts and worked in his restaurant. Not sure what I’d be doing exactly, I’m not really a big fan of seafood. Starfleet gave me a lot of opportunities I just wouldn’t have had otherwise.”
What do you consider to be a ‘fun’ outing to relax?
“Up until a few years ago I was a big fan of roller blading, which I kept up even as the Chief of Security on DS13, however, since joining the October’s command staff, it’s not something I’ve been able to pick up again, so I spend a lot of my free time now reading a series of Romulan comic books, believe it or not. There was a short line published in the wake of both the Dominion War and the Shinzon rebellion which had a strong focus on reunification and acceptance of other cultures, in particular the Remans. My mother had managed to save a copy from Romulus, so it might be quite a rare collection. My current favourite is a spin off series following a crime fighting vigilante Reman and their Romulan sidekick in the fictional Jolthar City on the Mol Gerccei peninsula.”
