Biographical Information
After graduating from Starfleet Academy with a specialization in Shield Harmonics, Sh’lyna Shallas found herself assigned as a security officer, manning the torpedo bays upon the then newly christened U.S.S Alvani. She ascended the ranks slowly, working on the lower decks of the Alvani before finally being transferred to the U.S.S Roosevelt at the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade, ending up in charge of the Roosevelt’s torpedo bays. After single-handedly preventing an explosive accident at risk to her own self, she was finally promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander and assigned as operations chief to the Siva.
Personal history:
Before her career in Starfleet drew her away from Earth and Andoria, Sh’Lyna earned a reputation on Andoria as a professional ice cross skater! Video records of her competing on behalf of Andoria in competitions between ice planets are easily found on the net, skating nimbly on downhill obstacle courses with turns, bumps, hills and dives.
She also had an active profile on Andorian social media as a teenager, and looks to have been quite the party girl before abrubtly closing (but not deleting) her account.
Commendations
- Recieved a special commendation for bravery after single handedly stopping a torpedo detonation aboard the U.S.S Roosevelt, at significant risk to her own life.
