Biographical Information
Born in Earth to a Vulcan mother and Human father. Instead of being raised on Vulcan, her parents intended to stay on earth as her father was a higher education professor and her mother was a historian specializing in Human history. Initially when growing up, she intended to follow in her parent’s paths into pursuing the academic world, however her Father’s premature death due to a rare illness caused her to pursue the path of medicine instead. Upon her father’s passing, T’Minah and her mother relocated to vulcan where she finished her education and applying to the Vulcan Science Academy with a focus in Xenobiology and Medicine.
At 2398 she then transferred to Starfleet Academy and earned her commission three years later. At this time it was the height of the war between the Federation and the Klingon empire, which saw T’Minah immediately putting her knowledge to use along the front. She applied and was accepted to MACO as an Individual Augmentee to help bolster their depleting numbers as a combat medic. At the cease of hostilities, she returned to normal Starfleet Service as a Doctor and soon was engaged and married. Both T’Minah and her husband where able to remain together whenever they transferred postings.
2411 saw renewed activity from the Borg, which her vessel at the time was unfortunate enough to experience first hand, leading to the deaths of two thirds of the crew, including her husband. Her vessel was able to escape and limp home to safety where she temporarily left Starfleet to seek peace and come to terms with her grief in meditation on Vulcan. 2421 she left Vulcan and returned to Starfleet and continued her role as a Doctor.
