Biographical Information
Thranalla ivani-Karentyn tesh’Threllenask sh’Vestarnikek was born outside of Laikan, Andoria to a traditional Andorian shelthreth. During her childhood she fell in love with stories of strategists and their campaigns, and the war stories of old. She studied extensively, and trained with both plasma weapons and the ushaan-tor, until she overcame all of her peers.
Nalla joined the Imperial Guard at the tender age of sixteen, rapidly distinguishing herself in battle during her brief service on the I.G.V. Thessal, until its loss in battle in 2119. Her and her team distinguished themselves again by being the last ones off the doomed vessel, holding the line against boarders until everyone else was off. Nalla’s commanding officer, Lieutenant Keran, was killed activating the vessel’s self destruct. She took his position as Tactical officer under the same captain aboard the I.G.V. Kuleth, until his death in 2131. She would continue her service under the Kuleth’s executive officer, Commander Taran, aboard her new vessel, the Shakral. Her loyalty would earn her subsequent promotion to Lieutenant, and eventual assumption of the role of Executive Officer. The Shakral would later be assigned to Task Force Kumari during its defense against the Vulcan High Command’s attempt to invade Andoria, and later during the joint operations against the drone marauders attempting to disrupt the Babel conflict.
Nalla’s faithful service was rewarded in 2160, when the Shakral was among several vessels chosen to attend the signing of the Charter of the United Federation of Planets. It was there that she met her future captain, Adrian Lasalle. At the urging of Commander Talan, she would finally leave her longtime home the Shakral, to join the newly formed ranks of Federation Starfleet.
