This message is directed to Lakara, daugther of Temir, zantai of House Krotak.
I am Thorgar, son of Morak, of Kallantar family line. I have been informed that Your House is willing to accept assistance in the matters of security patrolling of Mempa sector, which has been entrusted to Your House’s care.
On our journey to reach Krotak’s command post in this sector, we passed near Beta Thoridor system as we left Azure Nebula behind. We received a distress call from a Klingon supply convoy from Beta Thoridor and moved in to intercept. I am disgusted even mentioning them just by name, but it seems that some remnant of House Torg was harassing a supply line passing through this system.
The attack group consisted of one Vorcha cruiser and two Norgh birds of prey. We engaged the Vorcha and we were able to destroy it after a brief exchange of weaponry. The birds of prey, however, cloaked and retreated.
The supply convoy is heading Mempa IV and we will provide them an escort for the rest of their journey.
It is disturbing that, even so long after Torg’s fall, the remnants of this House still find ways to interfere with the Empire. I am aware they had brief resurgence during the Shattering. It is a speculation, but perhaps they gathered enough strength during J’mpok’s brief power play, just enough to mock of what it means to “remain Klingon”.
But that is perhaps for the higher echelons of our society to worry about. Once we finish our escort of convoy to Mempa IV, I would request an audience with someone of Your House, Lakara-zantai, to discuss something which I could call a long-term collaboration.
This proposal is not the traditional “warrior’s way”, so I will understand and accept if my request is refused.
