About STO 2410 v2 - Service:
This set primarily reflects the proper Starfleet Uniform Code guidelines for the Service Uniform
variant of the “Odyssey Class” uniform, in the game Star Trek Online, as suggested by the Starfleet
Uniform Code Guide released by Cryptic Studios shortly following the launch of content Season 9.5.
The Service Uniform is used as the standard uniform for the majority of basic functions wherever
dangers and hazards are most unlikely to be present, such as working on a ship, station, or base,
in an office, or on a non-hazardous planet.
In addition, this set also adds new colours corresponding to MACO, as well as to the currently
existing Primary and Secondary Professions as of the Agents of Yesterday expansion.
MACO: Navy Blue (“n”; “F6” in STO’s tailor UI; seen worn by an Enlisted MACO soldier’s dress
uniform in a piece of Iconian War promo art)
Intelligence: Black (“b”; seen worn by Starfleet Intel NPCs CDR Ethan Burgess and LCDR VanZyl)
Commando: Green 1 (“g1”; not to be confused with “Command”; colour indicated in
Specialization UI)
Command: Red (“r”; same as Tactical/Security; not to be confused with “Commando”; colour
indicated in Specialization UI, as well as Command Hybrid Bridge Officer Station icons on the
official STO wiki)
Pilot: Cyan (“c”; colour indicated in Specialization UI, as well as Pilot Hybrid Bridge Officer
Station icons on the official STO wiki)
Strategist: Green 2 (“g2”; colour indicated in Specialization UI)
Temporal Agent: Yellow 2 (“y2”; “J10” in STO’s tailor UI; colour indicated in Specialization UI,
as well as Temporal Agent Hybrid Bridge Officer Station icons on the official STO wiki).
In finality, this set also features the addition of Enlisted and Specialist rank insignias
reflecting those seen in STO’s Duty Officer UI, as well as the standard “single pip with inlay”
variant of the Enlisted rank seen in the tailor UI. It is important to note that the Duty Officer
style insignias reflect the precise rank structure of Duty Officers in the Duty Officer system and
UI:
Crewman: Lowest Duty Officer rank; used across all service divisions.
Petty Officer/Chief Petty Officer/Master Chief Petty Officer: Used only for Engineering and
Operations divisions.
Specialist/Senior Specialist/Senior Chief Specialist: Used only for Science and Medical
divisions.
Tactical/Security Duty Officers rank from Crewman, then to Ensign, then Lieutenant Junior Grade,
then Lieutenant. Hence, “Crewman” is the only Enlisted rank for Tactical/Security Duty Officers.
The rest are Junior Commissioned Officers.
