Biographical Information
Throughout previous postings, Captain Lane has been observed as commanding with quiet intensity. Her presence defined by deliberate silences and unsentimental honesty. Always acting with precision. Though also harbouring an intolerance for pretense and platitudes at the best of times.
Outside of command the Captain has been known to posess a subtle poetic streak. Often taken by a curiosity of both the universe’s indifference and beauty.
Somewhat atypical of most Starfleet officers, she finds meaning not in optimism, but simply in witnessing the universe and pressing forward regardless. Confronting danger, futility and cosmic indifference without illusion.
