The Temer Class is a 25th Century Khitomer Alliance Starship, designated as a raider or escort. Designed by the Allied Cooperative Starship Development board and named after Commander Temer of the Romulan Republic, who gave his life to save Klingon High Councillor Woldan.
Most Temer Class ships are assigned specifically to the small fleet that operates under the control of the Khitomer Alliance. This fleet is made up of officers and crews from the different members of the Alliance, serving onboard ships designed as part of the Cooperative Starship Development project to ensure a better integration of the different races present in the Alliance.
The Design blends Klingon and Romulan design principles with Starfleet Engineering knowledge. It has a bird-of-prey hull aspect with out swept wings connecting to its warp nacelles and heavy weapon mounts.
As with many of the ships designed an constructed for the Alliance Fleet Service the Temer class’s propulsion systems are custom designs to ensure full compatibility with the different combined systems and design ethics.
Some vessels serve within the individual Fleets of the Alliance members to better foster cooperation and integration.
History
The A.F.S Archangel is a new addition to the Allied Fleet Service. Having been recently rolled off the production line. She has been attached to the United Sector Task Force
